Nurture Training and Development is supported by Skills for Care; Workforce Development Fund.

Nurture Training and Development can enrol, plan, conduct, and certificate you workforce by utilising funding from the Workforce Development Fund.

The Workforce Development Fund is funding from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) disseminated by Skills for Care.

Work Force Development Fund Curriculum Offer:

  • Highfield Level 2 Diploma In Care (RQF) 603/2825/3
  • Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF) 610/1372/9
  • Highfield Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) 610/1880/6
  • Highfield Level 2 Awareness of Dementia (RQF) 600/1826/4

Skills for Care (2022) highlights “An independent evaluation of the funding found that employers who contributed to the evaluation said that the quality of care they provide has improved as a direct consequence of the WDF.”

Your organisation must be registered with Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) to access the Workforce Development Fund and account data is an accurate reflection of service(s) and workforce when utilising funds available from Workforce Development Fund WDF.

Your organisation is responsible to register adult social care services with Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) for each tendering year, so that details are up to date and funding can be claimed.

Your organisation is responsible for sharing data about each enrolment, using a Learner Data Capture Form and is also responsible for updating the Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set and Training. You will be provided with an Identification, known as Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) ID that is unique to your organisation by Skills for Care.

Workforce Development Fund can only be utilised by organisations that provide an adult social care service and directly employ care staff within England.

Your organisation agrees to share data with Nurture Training and Development; in line with GDPR and stakeholder agreements.

Nurture Training and Development has made a commitment with the Department for Education to access Learning Records Service LRS – registered under the Organisation Reference Code [158182] and UKPRN [10084767]. Furthermore, agreed with the Education & Skills Funding Agency ESFA to access and use data only where permitted.
